Heartworks combines Neuroaesthetics with 30+ years of HeartMath® research to help caregivers harness the immense power of their hearts and imaginations, creating positive change in their lives and, thus, the lives of their children. Through art, movement, music, and breath, Heartworks activities reduce stress, regulate emotions, and improve heart rate variability. These activities, which can be done with or without children, support caregivers in building resilience without adding the stress of finding extra time for emotional self-care (don't worry, we won't tell your kids this is actually you time!). With a growing collection of "consciously creative" activities and acclaimed live workshop, The Art of Resilience, Heartworks has become a lifeline for caregivers who are ready to begin their journey back towards joy, resilience and wholeness.

Hi, I’m Stephanie, a HeartMath® Certified Trainer, breathwork facilitator, and professional illustrator. After becoming a mother in 2016, I found myself overwhelmed by endless parenting advice and the pressure of social media comparisons, leaving me disconnected from my joy, creativity, and sense of purpose. The reactive, guilt-ridden parent I had become was not the role model I wanted to be for my children. Inspired by their joy for painting, singing and dancing, I reconnected with my own passions. This journey led to the creation of Heartworks, where self-care meets childcare. Through a blend of scientifically-backed activities and workshops, I’m honored to help caregivers spark lasting transformations that positively impact both their lives and those of the next generation.
Originally from Austin, Texas, I currently live in Los Angeles, California with my husband and three "tiny gurus"–my children!
